Dr, Yohai was educated at Tufts University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in Biology. He graduated Northwestern University Medical School in 1987, and completed his Ophthalmology Residency at University of Missouri in 1991. Having a strong interest in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, He was accepted to one of only 30 Oculoplastic Surgery Fellowships in the entire country, which he completed in 1992.
Dr. Yohai was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1992, 2002 and is committed to recertification every 10 currency of his knowledge.
He was recently awarded a “Patient’s Choice Award” by Vitalism and has been included in the Consumers’ Research council’s “Top Ophthalmologists” since 2006.
Dr. Yohai is also the first surgeon north of the Golden Gate Bridge to successfully perform a new, less invasive Glaucoma procedure called “Canaloplasty” on 1/12/2011.
